The Hawai'i Diamond Approach group formed in 1988. It is taught by Thomas Weinberg and Christine Dveirin, the successors to the founders Deborah Ussery Letofsky and Morton Letofsky. Members of Hawai'i Diamond Approach 2 and Hawai'i Diamond Approach 3 have merged into this group. The group is closed to new members except the possibility of advanced students transferring in.

The group is meeting for three 4-day retreats in  2025. In 2026 the format will shift to two 6-day retreats during the year.

Hawai'i Diamond Approach 2 started in 2000 and was taught by Christine Dveirin and Thomas Weinberg. The group has merged with Hawai'i Diamond Approach.

Hawai'i Diamond Approach 3 formed in 2006 and was taught by Karen Brewer and Prakash Mackay. The group has merged with Hawai'i Diamond Approach.​​​​​​​​​​
